Watson Cycles:

Watson Cycles constructs finely crafted bicycles and intricate cycling-related fabrications, including racks and custom-bent titanium bars.  Each project begins with a central principle and is then designed to address the specific needs of an individual.  Andrew Watson, a graduate of UBI and Keene State College, prides himself on his attention to detail and his ability to listen carefully and attend to a rider’s concerns.

At Watson Cycles, the primary aim is to deliver bicycles of the highest quality craftsmanship in order to maximize one’s enjoyment of the sport.  All models are made from a high-end selection of True Temper tubing and built with a focus on using American-made products.

A bicycle should fit like a tailored suit, perform like a precision machine, and represent its rider’s aesthetic taste.  There are many designs to consider—including road, mountain, cyclocross, touring and utility—and every project at Watson Cycles is nurtured with a passion of all things cycling.

2011 Bikes:
Mud Bock:

A cyclocross race bike featuring a flattened horizontal top tube for shouldering and your choice of canti or disc brakes.

Ruination:

A sophisticated blend of traditional and modern.  The Ruination employs a 650b wheel-size, carrying less rotational weight and a smaller diameter than the modern 29″ wheel.  This mountain bike gains speed and momentum rapidly while maintaining balance in tight corners with its low center of gravity.

The Storm King:

The Storm King is an all-business, do-anything bike.  Think cyclocross on steroids.  With loads of tire clearance, The Storm King utilizes a 29″ wheel, low mount disc brakes, and a drop bar for the ultimate in strength, comfort, and control.  Originally designed for loaded ‘cross touring, the Storm King easily accepts racks and paniers.  Its strength is its versatility: use the Storm King on your morning commute, a week-long ride on New England’s rail trails, or a cross-country touring adventure.

Growler Getter and She-Growler:

A trifecta of comfort, style and utility.  The belt-drive Growler Getter shown below features a hand-built front rack.  The She-Growler is accented with hand-turned wooden fabrications.

Roxy Rolles:

A flagship road bike.  Made with high-end True Temper steel, the Roxy Rolles minimizes body fatigue by absorbing vibrations while delivering the required stiffness for hill-climbing performance.
